These two SFF chassis share a similar construction with a clear Perspex roof panel.

Good Lord those cases are ugly...
The only positive thing I have to say about the Lian Lis I have owned is that they have been pretty stylish. These two, though... eek not even that!

So they've done the desks and are now moving onto coffee tables?

Either he's an elf, or those cases are actually huge for SFF

Grumble - all I can say is that the top section is better than the corsair air 240... you can get 2x 240mm rads in there with a matx motherboard but this one is too tall for my space, the air 240 can only take 1x 240mm rad with matx....
2 cases that come so close to what I want.... one too tall, one not quite 'wide enough' (in desktop mode)
edit: and these are actually quite big (same with the air 240) for sff cases...
I'd have also personally preferred them to release the q37 as that case is perfect for a home server....

I like the look of these. Between this or PC-A05N for next build.

Almost right for my rquirements.
A full size 5.25" drive bay instead of the slim optical drive would be better even if it meant a bit more height though it would probably also mean being deeper as well.
A fanless PSU seems to be ruled out as its likely to cook the motherboard and there is no cooling in the zone 2 area.
Cannot see the point of the front window?
Re: News - Lian Li releases the PC-V359 and PC-Q36 modular chassis
What is up with these small form factor cases not actually being very small?
Re: News - Lian Li releases the PC-V359 and PC-Q36 modular chassis
Lian Li make cases far too expensive. I don't know if they can really justify the prices by the material they use, or if they just stick a massive brand premium on it

Essentially you are still fitting desktop components in a SFF so you are limited by the sizes of the components.
