500ssd + 750gb 2.5" sata + 2Tb 3.5" sata
+ 4TB nas storage
120GBssd + 1TBhdd + 3TB home server.
I have not expanded the storage of my main PC for a while now, but have staedily increased home server capacity. With home life as it is I dont always get to use my main PC any more so having stuff on a server means it is both more secure and accessable.
120GB SSD with ~20GB free, and a 1TB HDD with ~120GB free on my desktop. It's my only computer, and I currently have no backup networked storage. Most of my important stuff is backed up to the cloud, but not all. I really am in the market for a 2TB drive for more storage, and am seriously thinking of a second 120GB SSD to setup a RAID 0 config.
128Gb SSD for Windows, another 128Gb SSD for Program installs, a 480Gb Revo3 for Games and 2 x 1Tb drives for onboard media storage. Then there is a 24Tb Network media server and a 200Gb OneDrive backup area as well as Crashplan for further unlimited backups.
Yeah, I'm not normal but I've been burnt before with a lack of backups.
240GB SSD in my 11.6" powerhouse (no sarcasm there), 240GB SSD plus 250GB HDD in 17.3" TDR laptop, 4.5TB storage on a NAS, looking to increase the NAS storage but it needs totally re-doing to get RAID 6.
1TB HDD for everything. So far ive used ~500gb. Will add a 128/256gb ssd soon for windows though.
As a total on the laptop I use as primary computer most of the time I use approx 470GB spread over a 128GB SSD and 1TB HD
As a total on the primary Gameplaying computer I use the rest of the time, I use approx 730GB out of 1.5GB (2 750GB HD's in Raid0)
For all my media etc I store that on a file server made up from a USB3 enabled laptop and a brace of external drives. Approx 3.5TB Used out of 4.06TB available.
Main Desktop
512GB SSD for OS and apps of which 75GB is in use with 401GB free
3TB HDD for bulk data [basicly all my game installs steam / origin] of which 1.18TB in use with 1.54TB free
4TB [2 4TB NAS HDDS in raid] DS214play NAS unit of which 1.8TB is free
Laptop
256GB SSD of which 65GB is used
Main PC: 128GB SSD (OS+APPS) + 128GB SSD (VM) + 2x500GB HDD RAID-0 (GAMES) + 2x1TB HDD (FILES, ...).
Media PC: 180GB SSD (OS+APPS) + 2x4TB HDD (FILES, ...).
Laptop 1: 32GB SSD (OS+APPS) + 1TB HDD (FILES, ...).
Laptop 2: 250GB HDD.
Laptop 3: 180GB SSD.
NAS: 2x4TB HDD RAID-1.
Laptop: 120 GB SSD + 750 GB HDD
NAS: 2 x 1 TB HDD
86gb on my 120gb ssd (OS programs and bf4 and hearthstone) and 185gb on my 500gb ssd (steam games)
Can't see how people use so much they must just hoard junk.
2x 120GB RAID 0
SSDs all the way for the main PC.
Using 190Gb of 370Gb all SSD. There is one 300Gb HDD in the PC to provide a first backup for data (home server provides a second backup).
Don't use cloud at all, but a home server means all the bulky items can be kept off the main PC which means SSDs provide enough storage at a reasonable price.
Even purchased a small SSD to keep the windows paging file on.
2x500GB HDD + 1x512GB SSD +1x120GB SSD on main system + 2x2TB + 2x1TB on a home server.
