That's not a bad little system, more than enough for an average user and a good thing to put under a TV for a media center

Seems a tidy way to turn a TV into a smart TV with that little extra power and general functionality for when its needed

Re: News - ECS LIVA, the world's smallest Windows-based mini-PC kit

Looks like a decent bit of kit.

A little of subject, I know, but, for the love of god, can they stop using that stupid music in ads and promos for electronics. I'm not sure what genre it is, but it's been milked more than the COD franchise. * Scream.

    /end of rant.

It appears they are using only the dual core version of Bay Trail M - would have been nice of they could have gone for the quad core version!

Re: News - ECS LIVA, the world's smallest Windows-based mini-PC kit

One thing i noticed is the power connector appears to be micro-USB.

Is it really running off 5V 1A? Awesome if so, dangerous for other devices if you have more than that running through micro-USB and plug the wrong thing into it

Power: Connector is a 5V/15W Micro USB Port
    Which would make it 3A.

That is one small PC alright. Decent specs for the case size too.

I assume because a lot of embedded PCs in shops, displays and similar still use VGA. That would be a large market

Not to mention potential business uses for projectors or for people who just have a projector in a room in there houses. If the projector is a couple years old and wasn't top of the line than VGA might be the only option.

Interesting product. I will be looking for this in reviews.
