What the heck is that? Are they trying to push some kind of modern design? Because to me it just looks strange...

It depends whether you consider a computer to be a piece of 'art' or a functional device, where form follows function.

From a practical point of view, and only judging from the pictures, I can see dust being a big problem, and you wouldn't want to risk putting a cup of coffee (or other beverage!) near it if it is as open as it appears to be.

And what point to it being open? It isn't like the Antec Skeleton frame which really does look innovative, and you could sort of justify as a test bed frame.

I'll look forward to reading the HEXUS review in due course, but from first looks, this wouldn't be on my short, or even long, list for a case - I like my cases to be functional, not decorative.

Pretty or not - that is in the eye of the beholder - but that thing is going to be a nightmare for dust.

I actually really like it but there is no excuse I can use for me to replace my cosmos 2 with it.

After seeing that price for what it is there is no justification for that price .
Does the S stand for people who pay that as in SIMPLE

Re: News - In Win S-Frame will start to ship worldwide in August

I like it, but would never buy one.

It's totally impracticable for anything outside of a showcase but its stylish, well engineered and they are thinking way outside of the box.

Not too sure on that review, they didn't have any cables connected up apart from the liquid cooling so you can't see the mess of cables I bet you will end up with.

The thing is, the genuinely good part about this -- zigzag airflow -- is an adaptation from the Mac Pro everyone laughed at. Personally, that reaction disappointed me; I thought it was good that the exterior didn't shout "COMPUTER" and the inside was revolutionary, needing only a very slow fan.

However, In Win haven't captured what Apple was doing with that case's internal layout, and the exterior of their case is several steps back. I do feel a bit bad about mocking it as an immediate reaction, but at the same time I can't cheer them on just for being a little different. It's what's the same that's the problem: the unbelievably clumsy approach to aesthetics and design principles that's plagued PCs for years.
