Broadwell and Skylake arriving simultaneously? That's pretty odd.

Haswell-E looking very very close according to this. Any more info on how close this really is?

I'm putting together a couple of high end workstations to replace my mac pros (forced on me, I wouldn't buy macs if I had a choice, especially not now I've had the misfortune of having to use 6 of the overpriced garbage things over the last 7 years at work). Currently I'm pricing the systems up based around the 4930K, but X79 is really showing its age at the minute! These machines need to last a good few years.

Re: News - Intel to make 14nm chips for Panasonic AV equipment

Can someone point me to a good outline of the different Intel product code names?

I can't keep up with them all these days, there are so many overlapping generations and market segments.
