Could be good for presentations for people that travel alot (customer visits etc), would prolly be better quality than a projector and lighter too.
Along with loads of threads complaining that people's roll-up screens were instead folded up and creased by the shop/manaufacturer/delivery company and they can't prove it enough to get an RMA!!
I could see Oculus using a version of this as a screen for future versions of the Rift with a fixed position curve, assuming LG can increase the pixel density for smaller versions of it.
How about a complete head-to-toe suit made of this, that reacts and changes colour depending on the surroundings. Although it would probably break within a few seconds.

Best use I can think of is in Proffesional simulators for Flight, Racing etc. Providing it can be made large enough.

Rollable screens should be out by now, but they're not. If there's anything that a lot of consumers would love is a large screen in a small device. The technology is already here, but the commercial introduction isn't. Reasons of cost? Of reliability? We've seen concepts and tech demos for a few years now, but they're still not available. I'm guessing the transparent rollables will take longer than 2017 to be imtroduced commercially. First get the non transparent rollables out.
I'm still waiting for my Earth:Final Conflict style video phones, this brings possibilities.
