Or you could, y'know, get a projector and move it further back. :P

(Fry face)
Not sure if 3 Titan Z's is just adding to joke, or forgot that Titan Z is Titan's SLI'd one one PCB already and you could only possibly SLI two Titan Z's...
Either way, these things looks amazing and ridiculous. That's all us normal people can really say about them.

Ideal if you live in a lighthouse or one of these?

Re: News - Samsung's 105-inch 4K UHD TV now available for pre-order
I must be going crazy, or stupid, or both. You say:
'Those who have a spare £199,999.99 for entertainment purposes will now be able to pre-order this 4K television set.'
Then -
'With $120K, you can get your hands on one of the first curved 105-inch 4K TVs on the market'
Then -
'Pre-orders will open this week, and although price and availability has yet to be disclosed for those residing outside the US, US$120,000 converts to approximately around GBP£70,300. So if this 105-inch telly does make it to Blighty it could cost upwards of £90K including tax.'
Am I going mad or in the course of 6 paragraphs have you estimated 2 wildly differing prices for the same product? I'm honestly reading it thinking the heat has gotten to me! :)

And I thought that the 4K Sony projector was expensive at $25000

There are various prices as you say, but for toys this of this magnitude, if you need to ask the cost- you can't afford it
Re: News - Samsung's 105-inch 4K UHD TV now available for pre-order
I'm going to wait for one of these, I'm sure they will be cheaper once they go into mass production instead building to order.
Re: News - Samsung's 105-inch 4K UHD TV now available for pre-order
*Waiting patiently for 1080p tv's to drop in price some more so that I can finally buy one* All these new screens will eventually make that happen :P
Re: News - Samsung's 105-inch 4K UHD TV now available for pre-order
So what is the radius of the curve ? I assume that would be the ideal viewing distance. I think they have made the curve radius too small.
Re: News - Samsung's 105-inch 4K UHD TV now available for pre-order
Between doors and windows (not to mention simple things, like decoration, furniture, etc...), not sure if I have enough open wall space, or floor space, for this beast. 8ft diagonal measure (7ft11in for those that care to be anal, or 2 2/3 metres for those that want to be European :) ).. how far back would you have to be to even see the whole thing...
Not sure I see the point in a TV this large, although at this price point, I guess if you can afford it, you can afford to house it properly.
Re: News - Samsung's 105-inch 4K UHD TV now available for pre-order
Whether it's $120k or $200k, anyone spending that much money on a TV needs to seriously re-consider their priorities in life. You could quite easily build an amazing AV set-up using more established technologies and still have at least $100k left over that you could give to charity.
I'm no bleeding-heart liberal by any means but this is well into the realms of unjustifiable materialism.

Is it April again already?
