I meant the 1320. If full-fat Windows costs less than a "phablet"(I hate that word, can't we just call them Dom Joly phones?), there is no longer a space for RT to exploit.

Like I said before, I agree that RT seems to be a "we could do this, so we did" product rather than something that was actually needed. Best explanation I've read so far is that RT was supposed to be the low cost (ARM-based) Windows to go up against low cost (ARM-based) Android tablets. Why they can't do this with Windows phones is a something only Microsoft could answer - there's certainly a lot of good business reasons why you'd only want Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 in the mobile space.
And as you say, now that "proper" Windows is available in a portable device with a reasonable cost and battery life then it's debatable where RT fits. All the phablets I've seen use full WP8, (note I don't count tablets with 3G capability as a 'phablet' since it can't directly make calls). And like you I'm not a big fan of the term - especially as it seems to be applied inconsistently. E.g. original Note (with a 5.3" screen) seems to be regarded as a phablet, but the LG G3 (5.5" screen) is "merely" a phone.
What term would you use - "large screen phone"?
