I really hope things turn out ok for these guys, they looked after us in the 80's with their budget range, pocket money prices for us kids back then on the various machines like C64, Spectrum & Amstrad, would hate to see them disappear into memory.
Re: News - Mastertronic in financial difficulty, cutting workforce by 40 per cent
Damn, I remember them, didn't realise they were still going! Even the old video (and I mean VHS/Betamax) rental places had them in racks around here, £1.99 and £2.99 titles. I particularly remember a BMX game and a fruit machine sim...
Hope they sort things out.

I must admit I too didn't realise they were still about, going back to the C64 days and looking around WHSmith for new games.
Fond memories :)

Ditto, I thought they went when all the other great 80's companies folded up. Maybe they've got something worth a couple of quid "for old times sake".

Well that's bad news, especially if it's the same Mastertronic that owns Just Trains/Just Flight who make excellent add ons for TS 2014/MSTS/FSX.

Yes, it is that Mastertronic, in a statement I read elsewhere from the MD he does mention Just Trains & Flight :(
They aren't the company they used to be, bought out by SEGA and merged with Virgin Interactive, however the name does live on and they do have the Sold Out Range.
