If it's @E3 then does that suggest an autumn (/fall) launch for the game itself - say late October/early November? When quizzed about Just Cause 3, in December 2013, Sundberg told Gamespot that it was "too early to talk about it just yet". So perhaps we are now approaching that time. It was also previously stated by Sundberg that Just Cause was a "perfect" game series for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. ... But is the project codenamed 'Mamba', thought to be Just Cause 3, going to come along this year for PC and next gen consoles and be under the spotlight at the E3 show in June?
If it was a "console exclusive" then that'd be a strong incentive to me to get a "next gen console" (probably PS4 because I'm really hacked off with Microsoft).
Big fan of JC and more especially JC2, so JC3 would definitely be on my "must buy" list. Heck, they can have my pre-order now.
I'm another Just Cause fan, steam says i've put 100 hours into JC2 and I must have played about 80 hours on the 360 version of JC1. So count me in for a sale if its on its way, although I'll wait for the reviews first rather than preorder.
Really enjoyed Just Cause 2, looking forward to a third.

Here is hoping they keep the game play like JC2 but shrink the map and fill it with.....stuff, JC2 was to big and to bland
Normally choose PC as main platform, but got Just Cause 2 on PS3 and put over 120 hours into it. One of my favourite games ever, they can pretty much count me in already. Would have been nice if GTA had the levels of helicopter/plane control of JC, really struggled with GTA IV and now V!
Awesome. Just Cause 2 really nailed the sandbox feel without stepping on the toes of the GTA games too much.
My betting is that Just Cause 3 will be based in Africa somewhere.
Yes, only issue I'd got with it (other than the grind of collecting all those bits to be able to level up) was in the bottom part of the map. In that part there wasn't any "friendly" base to stage from, so you ended up with a tedious amount of travel time to get into that area. In a lot of cases I either stole a copter and put up with the nap-of-the-earth flight to that island, or stole the copter then got to an airfield and grabbed a plane.
Best thing about JC2 in my opinion (haven't tried the massively-multiplayer option - figuring I'd be dead meat for just about everyone else) is that there's still a bit of replay value. So even if you've got to the end of the missions, you can still have some evil fun going into a city, town, etc and causing havoc with the remaining soldiers. Some of the "furballs" you can get into a quite fun - being chased by many humvee's with copter gunship support is an adrenaline rush.
Africa is possible, most of the rumour sites I've seen have suggested South America. Personally I would have thought Africa more likely since JC(1) was in the Carribean (so close to South America) and JC2 was in the Philippines (Asia) - so a new site seems warranted.
I hope that this is true. JC2 and FC3 have massive amounts of replay-ability so this is giving me a proper full on robot chubby
