Love that metal finish...

You just know that $199 price tag will become £199 here and that Eee just anit worth that type of money. Make it 4GB RAM and minimum 64GB SSD storage and touch screen and it would be worth a punt at £199. At the specs mentioned its worth £130 tops.
The Zenbook looks nice but thats got to retail here at well over a grand.

Given the previous Zenbooks at $1000–2000 but the same £, with the exchange rate, it'd be cheaper to fly over to the States, buy one there and 'smuggle' it back in person, gaining a free short break in the process. Sad but true.

Well, all I can say is, aside to agreeing with the previous posters, that Core M notebooks are something to be excited about. Not at this stage, though. When the prices go down and when we see what other manufacturers have to say about it. I'd really like a laptop that one can work on whole day without recharging. My current Thinkpad can squeeze out 5-6 hours, which is formidable, but not really enough.
The X205 is cute, but too expensive for the specs, indeed.
Same, but more serious, goes for smartwatches. What use is a wristwatch that you have to recharge daily? I'm not even thinking about thinking about it until I could use it without recharging for a week or so.
