I still love that they make these headline-grabbing cards (even if they amount to little more than component-porn) given how few people would ever buy one - most folks with the money and the desire for that sort of power would still go multi-card anyway.

@ only 500 cards being made, i highly doubt that more than 2 cards would exist for tech sites to review... so it might take a while

Nah, this is all about the reviews. It's not out there for sales as such, it's out for the publicity, and great reviews are the best way to get it.

would love to Xfire this with my other 290x card but I fell the price is gonna hurt.

I so want this card but think I well eventually get the 295 in a couple of weeks with the price coming down

according to my sources the price of that godlike gpu is 1500 euro's

Faster than the Fastest? Then this will gonna be Fast I think. :)
