Why would you port an action game like this and lock it to 30 FPS ?!
I can already feel Total Biscuit winding up to rant over this!

If it had just been a single line edit, that would have been "OK" (ie why isn't this a tick-box in the game like every other PC game?) but you actually have to create the user.ini file yourself, according to that link. It's just through good fortune that the game executable looks for a user.ini even though one isn't there.

You can create an INI file and add a framerate uncap setting.
I unlocked it yesterday (Japan VPN) and it's quite good. Not so sure what all the stressing was about on the forums though, apart from not being able to save (I think due to the unlock procedure) I never had any issues.

The issue is the very fact that if it's such a simple fix then there should be a ticky box in the menu somewhere. It smacks of laziness or poor planning. And when this was tested on the PC, did no-one comment on the feel of the game? I would have thought it wouldn't feel as smooth.

Word is it's a performance disaster

Ran fine on my system and looked really nice maxed out. I am wondering if the "performance issues" are actually the 30FPS lock.

No, TB actually did a video about it, and how it runs terribly.
