11th November would be a daft release date in the UK. All the media attention would already be focused on remembrance day evens and memories.
I'll wait a few months anyway before buying just to see if the port is any good. The game had a lot of hype on release but I haven't heard anything about it since!
I don't care when it comes out as long as it's before Christmas!
I'm sick of some developers releasing PC versions later than consoles. We didn't have to wait for Mass Effect, Tomb Raider or Skyrim so why are simultaneous releases so difficult for Rockstar? I read they're finally releasing Red Dead Redemption next year. Erm, yeah thanks Rockstar but I just don't care about it any more!

I'd definetly put my money on this coming out in November. There has been various outlets leaking dates and the general pattern is November.
Despite COD:AW and Farcry coming out in November too, R* has already made a crap ton of $$$ on pre-gen. This will carry on to nextgen and PC sales. So they won't necessarily need to worry about competition.
There should be less work needed for optimization with the current gen of consoles as they are all based on x86 architecture granted there are some differenced but essentially current gen and PC's are about the same in terms of coding.
The previous gen the architecture of the consoles was vastly different to that of a PC resulting in porting issues.
Either way release the game I want to play it lol

The PC port better be a good one, and not be as horrible as 4 was.
Amazon Germany had it up for preorder back in early June and removed the listing in less than 4 hours.

Got an email from Rockstar yesterday and I'm kind of excited and p*ssed at the same time..
Rockstar Games is proud to announce that Grand Theft Auto V will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, 2014 with the PC version to follow January 27, 2015.
