It's good to see more and more AAA title releases for Linux. It'll make living in a Linux desktop more and more permanent with time.

I'm a bit disappointed - Borderlands TPS was same-day on Linux.
I've preordered it for £22.50, but won't get a key until the Mac release date.

Still think it's too expensive (at least @ RRP).

£30 is too expensive for a AAA game with wide platform support?
Re: News - Civilization: Beyond Earth Linux and Mac release dates confirmed
Just wait for the Winter Steam sale.. I'm sticking to Civ 5 for the moment.

Just downloading Sid Meier's Civilisation V from Steam for free - hopefully this will be similarly available when I get ready for it!

With so much competition from so many different softcos then yes IMO that is way too much. It's all relative of course to peoples' varying incomes & priorities; all I know is I'll never pay more than a tenner for a game ever again, probably not even a fiver tbh (which this'll b soon enough and I'm in no hurry)... :)

cdkeys are knocking this out for £25 with what looks like steam activation if you want to save a few quid!

I got it from these guys for £22.70. If you like them on facebook you get a further 5% off. I did so, then unliked them after.
I am looking forward to this game tomorrow. I only hope the multiplayer is improved on civ v as it lagged and was awful!
