Absolutely nothing. Zilch. Nada. Don't believe the hype.
Some Christmas presents for various people in my family - I spotted some appropriate items on Amazon's lightning deals and just logged on at the relevant times. for a minute or two. Also picked up a couple of books for myself but nothing major. Elsewhere, a couple of things that might have tempted me (an SSD and a laptop) were out of stock in less than 5s (!) or when the discount arrived it was still over twice the price I could buy the same item for in the US (discounted to £1000, or the same model is available for $799 Stateside - at that point I'll refuse to buy it in the UK on principle).
nothing why ? why bring another bad idea from the states ...why spend what you don't have on crap there trying to get rid of ??
if you din't need it yesterday why buy it today ??
My dignity! by keeping out of the weak offerings this year.
I also believe this tripe is simply sent here by big corporations to dupe Brits into spending on high priced junk with an early January sales frenzy - it is an American festival of stupidity, let it remain so. Today I bought nothing but Christmas cards at normal retail.
Nothing. Didn't see anything particularly amazing. Seems a bit weird that it's suddenly a thing in the UK now too.
Nothing yet.. Might buy a steam game if I find something I'm interested in.
A load of club cycling gear, the order landed at the shop on Tuesday and today was the 1st chance I had to escape from work for half an hour to grab it. Not really in the spirit of the question though.
As above, lets see what Steam brings later though.
NVIDIA Shield Tablet. Got the controller for free as part of a Black Friday bundle!
Shadow Warrior, as it was only £3.
Nothing, a bargain is only a bargain if it was something you would have bought at full price anyway. A lot of the deals seemed to be an excuse to shift old stock or lines that hadn't sold well in the past.
I just brought chips and Cheese , cheeseburger and coke from my local takeaway... Same price as normal though
nothing... couldn't get on half the sites and the ones I did get onto didn't really have anything that good on offer. It just seemed like they were out to sell off old stock under the 'black friday' hype.
Might grab a chromecast tomorrow (if any are left) for £18 when shopping though.... never bothered with one before now but at £18 it's worth a punt.
Rush on bluray for £4.99 form Zavvi, the Mrs will like that for xmas.
Had a laugh at people fighting overs rubbish TVs.
XBox One & 4 games, £299 at GAME.
