    TSMC to provide 16nm FinFET to Nvidia, no mention of AMD

    Avago, LG and MediaTek also make the 16nm early-adopter list.

    Slightly disappointed there was no mention of AMD... actually more than slightly. But their roadmap reflects that, too. No plans for FinFET any time soon. Sad.

    Not from TSMC perhaps.. but Samsung/GF..

    Samsung readied 14nm in feb and GloFo are using it, with process ramp up starting 2015 (remember Samsung qualified it already) - expect AMD to be on 14nm next year.

    only about 3 months behind TMSC in this one , and UMC are actually on FINFet .

    AMD will use GloFo - but UMC is an option now as we;;. and remember Apple are still sucking a lot of wafers from TSMC
