"working on new customer entertainment rewards"
I bet they will depend on you getting the crappy EE broadband they are always trying to shift onto people.
"New customer entertainment rewards" - 50p a month off a netflix account?
What I would like to see now is my bill reduced to compensate for the money they are saving from not running these 2 deals (and the Orange Wednesday deal was the only way i would go to the cinema. £10+ to watch a file is ridiculous, I can practically buy the BluRay on release for that, watch it repeatedly and not have kids talking and throwing popcorn around!)
EE are money-grabbing barstewards.
Just FYI, if you have an empire cinema aroundyou, every tuesday they do every ticket for £3.75 ( I think, it's be a while ). And just choose a movie that has nearly finished airing, then it's normally empty!
Also, the cheap tickets are for everyone, no catches, no sign ups to mailing lists required. Just cheaper tickets to get people in through the week! That's the only time I go to the cinema now.
Well, having been an orange customer since .... well, since moving from BT analog Cellnet, I've never yet availed myself of this offer, nor been interested in doing so. So, personally, oh well.
Only reason I go cinema every so often was due to the orange wednesday, no way can I justify £12 a ticket! Ill buy the bluray on release thanks...
Cant wait for the cineworld to be built in plymouth, only 2 years to go and i can finally buy a year pass for £70 and be done with it :P
Yeah bare in mind that cineworld passes are £70ish from tesco via clubcard points, not sure on the actual value but I can dig the cheap price for unlimited viewings :D
Lets hope they do actually build it. I am in Plymouth too and Vue is just silly priced to go to.
Shame It was useful, oh well, back to when it releases on DVD/ Blu Ray
Well there goes the number of times I go to the cinema. Far too expensive to go when compared to other forms of entertainment for me.
Luckily I live near a cineworld and have a n unlimited pass so actively avoided Wednesdays, so to me I just get Wednesday back as I day I can go.
As it is we did take friends on orange Wednesday with our passes to which that won't happen any more, not my problem really.
