Re: Rockstar offers $1M in-game cash for GTA V PC pre-order customers

Single player or multiplayer ? When I first got it for PS3 I slaved my nuts off getting loads of money in SP because I thought it carried over to MP...it doesn't ha.

So if this is SP cash it's absolutely useless.

EDIT: Er n/m it's split between SP and MP. Still, kinda pointless. You earn money in the SP super-quick.

As seems usual with PC games these days there are a number of options, particularly if you already have the free games. I notice Amazon and Game are both £34.99 with their usual pre-order price guarantees.

God I hate these 'buy now to make it easier' type bonuses. Play the game you lazy foks!

Yeah, cheating used to be free, or at least didn't involve manipulating the engine's variables.

+1 on this, especially as paying them their "cheat" money just makes it more likely that they'll pull this kind of excrement in future.

I saw a board posting about a future version of CoD only allowing non-premier users a pistol and knife. At the time I thought it a good joke, but maybe it wasn't...

Not relevant for me anyway, because I haven't got enough space to install this and the SRIV pack (out this week!) and I know I'll have a lot more fun playing the SRIV one. Pufft, I'll wait until GTAV is in a Steam sale next Christmas.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

Greenman Gaming's current 23% off discount also applies to GTA V which is most excellent

free game would have been good if I didn't already have them and with everyone else earn money in the game don't get it as a hand out.

I might as well, seems like this is going to be one of the first steam titles to not be available cheap from overseas.
Hopefully, they will get the message.

Wouldn't surprise me since windows and office are trying to go subscription so why not introduce this to gaming. Always the almighty dollar and how to get more.

    TBH just buy the game.

It's 50/60 hours of mindless GTA style romp. Worth every penny of the 40 quid I spend on the ps3 version.
