Widening the gap with AMD's desktop offerings :-(

    It's a shame about AMD.

Still, I'd rather Intel steam ahead than lazily dawdle in front of AMD.

Eh? I can't see any mention on that slide of Desktops. It mentions tablets, laptops and 2 in ones, so I guess this is another low TDP SOC offering.

I don't think there is anything to see here for gamers & enthusiasts, I am starting to think that Haswell is as good as Intel will ever produce for us.

In other words 10nm still doesn't exist and there hoping something comes up by the end of the year.

Possibility they'll skip Broadwell on desktop? Seems silly releasing two architectures in the same year, with different socket types (assuming they are, of course).

Yet I can't see anything in the transcript or slides to support that. They mention notebooks, mobile, 2 in 1 and Chromebooks. Not desktops, unless you count mini PCs.
