Most components are consuming less and less power so is there gonna be anyone that needs this? Are there any specs for efficiency? This might help people understand why this has been made.
Reliable and smooth 1kW + power on the 12V line? The PSU is sold through a builder that offers a 4 x GTX980 computer.
It might be handy for the rest of us as well though, you never know when you will need to do some resistance soldering or arc welding
Dual 15 core Xeons and 36 drives in RAID 10 with quad R9 290X.
I wonder if that would consume anywhere near 2kW...
