Why do I always look at Steam sales? I don't need another game, but I can see another fiver leaving the wallet there.
At that price I might even give Goat Simulator a try, try and see why my kids have spent so much time on it
I'm definitely tempted by the controller and steam link however I'll need to see the final UK price first... Probably £49.99... Sigh...
I want one

Steam: Korath .::. Battle.net: Korath#2209 .::. PSN: Korathis .::. Origin: Koraths

Today, $49.99 is £32.81. VAT is 20%, making total a potential cost of £39.37. 25% markup to cover for UK operations is very steep. But that's just the way it is, isn't it?
I'm still pretty interested in this though, it has some to work well with games that aren't FPS's. I have a 360 remote for that !
Not going to lie, sick of hearing about Valve's controller antics now. Would rather just know what the final one is when it's announced...
I see Ebuyer have a Steam PC section now:

Just had a quick look.
Clicky. Looks good, till you see it's powered by a 250 watt PSU!! That MUST be cutting it fine!
Possibly, but possibly not.
Looking at the Anandtech R9-270 review...
they are getting just under 250W at the wall, so allowing for the use of a 1200W psu which is probably going to be really inefficient at that sort of power level so the 239W at the wall for the stock Ice-Q model is probably about 190W delivered (assuming 80% efficient PSU). Then those tests are done with an overclocked i7 on a top end motherboard, so knock off some more for that, the real world power requirement of that steam box is probably about 150W.
that controller looks nice
still can't see it being significantly superior to the current Xbox Onecontroller that I use on both Xbox One and my PC - be nice if it was though.
and I agree with cheesemp - if it's 49.99 USD it will probably be 49.99 GBP (or near enough)
