As a business elite, what kind of businessmonkey wants a 17" laptop that weighs the same as a house?

Business elite = a thin, light 12/13 incher.

    Typically a ibm/lenovo x series.

Also - for most general business use - discrete gfx are overkill/battery-eaters

Ignoring brand etc they'd be deemed chunky even as a mobile workstation.

MSI haven't been following current trends... high class business people will be going for thin light, well branded and classy looking laptops (ie expensive over power )

So what do MSI do... they release a chunky 'metallic' laptop that looks like it's half plastic...these aren't going to sell well lol

Remove bling from gaming laptop. Market it as being dual purpose gaming or business use in a less fashionable but more serviceable chassis. Nothing wrong here except they will overprice it and come up with some nonsense about business elites which amounts to the exact same premium pricing they reserve for gamers.

MSI marketing would like to remind you that you are special and therefore worth it.
