Tempted to pick one up for £19 as a Prime member. I already have 2 chromecasts which I use often but a little remote and support for Prime Instant may be nice

Ordered. I have been waiting for this for months, and have held off Prime membership until it came out. Will comment on it's performance near the end of April for those interested!
As a prime member it would be nice to have something that supports Amazon's prime movie/video service, which isn't supported on the Chromecast (AFAIK).
Otherwise, it's a video dongle, if it does what it does, it shouldn't matter about the spec.
I swear it used to be supported on the iPad app but I went to use it the other day and the casting option wasn't there. I'm quite annoyed of their lack of support (I know they have their own system) and the fact its taken them a very long time to get Instant Video onto Android (still doesn't work very well for most) even though their Fire product run on Android themselves.

We cancelled Prime last year due to the lack of device support. Spent ages trying to get it working on our MS Surface and Asus Transformer then eventually gave up.
The only issue is I thought it could be powered by USB / HDMI ports rather than requiring a power outlet... bit of a shame but still better than lugging a set top box around.
Sykobee, specs do matter but only in certain areas; Dual band wifi and processing speed, and enough RAM to get a good cache stored up. As for the 8gb storage, if they allow "Watch Offline Later" then that will be handy too, otherwise it's just marketing candy.
I have fire TV and its pretty good, even through powerline. Tempted to get this just as its cheap but with 4 tv's in the house, 2 of them smart tv's, another with Fire TV attatched, and with several games consoles available which support Amazon Instant Video, im thinking its just another gadget to play with.
still tempted tho...
As a Prime subscriber I went for this at £19 just to see what it's like. I figure it beats booting up the PS3 just to watch Prime video or Netflix. I'm curious though - why is it that neither the Amazon Fire TV or the Google Nexus Player offer 4OD? Are Channel 4 just being bums about it or what? It seems that'll be the only service I need to fire up the PS3 for, unless I can just download a 4OD app to the stick?
