Hardly enabled by Atom, they could have done this years ago with an E350. So I presume this is really enabled by Intel giving the CPUs away, which they won't do forever?
Netbooks are dead. Long live netbooks !
Anyone else thinking:
(a) That black (non-Acer) model looks nice;
(b) How long before someone purges/dual-boots Windows and puts a Linux distro on there.
Agree with DanceswithUnix, Microsoft could have done this with an AMD chip. I've been eargerly awaiting a new laptop with a current generation AMD processor in the 11.6 inch form factor. All I've seen is Intel models, I really hope this will change soon.
I will say my old school netbook based on the AMD C50 with upgrades to 4gb ram and a 1366x768 screen is epic, why didn't they do this earlier?
Thy shall wait...
... wait to see these things equipped with i7...
Thy shall wait ...
... wait forever.. :D
