Google making the most of the lack of simple apps for Windows! I can't see it being of much use to Apple users, I doubt that there are many apps on Googlepay that aren't already available for iOS.
The MAc doesn't use iOO, it is OSX which is Unix based. If the Android apps (bearing in mind that android is a Linux variant) then he should be able to use the apps as per the article. My comment was for those who do have an iOS device, such as an iPad or iPhone.
This is well cool. I really missed messenger on my PC after Facebook withdrew it. Its working perfect on my current Mac (Hack)
Brian224 was making a good point - "Apple users" doesn't necessarily have to mean "Apple mobile users", so for Apple desktop users who happen to have an Android phone (or tablet, or game console, or TV box - let's not forget them) then perhaps this news is interesting. To be honest, I'd see the Mac users as a minority interest - this'd be more targetted at ChromeOS first, then Windows, then perhaps Linux.
Anything that makes it easier to access your Google Play purchases has got to be good news for a lot of folks.
