A new Doom is all fine and well, but I'd so much rather hear substantiated news (ie. a definite announcement) of Fallout 4.

Just nitpicking but the franchise is 'The Elder Scrolls' not 'Skyrim'. Second time I've noticed this huge error that greatly affects the way I live my life.

I do hope this one is good. Such a shame (IMO) that something that was so revolutionary spawned sequels that weren't really any more advanced than the original, except in graphics.

Doom 1 and 2 were fine (including official expansions and crazy community stuff like Brutal Doom), it was Doom 3 (and its refresh that comes with flashlight and NPCs that paid electrical bills) that mucked things by going over a more cinematic and jump scare-y route rather than the classic run and gun formula.
