Ofcom gives customers more rights to quit from slow ISPs

Ofcom, before you I payed 5p/min to any 0845 etc premium phone number (on three.co.uk) But now from 1st of july it's possibly going to be 50p/min (minimum is going to be 30p/min) just to arrange children ride tickets!?! Thanks ofcom, but no thanks

There are apps that can reroute some 0845 numbers to an 03 number which would be included in your call plan (if you're on a mobile :] ).

BT just phoned me to advise that an upgrade to the highest-spec über-poly-carbon-nylon-lycra-fibre cabinet to the property Infinity Broadband is being rolled out to my area and my property will be getting it "IMMINENTLY"... within the next nine-to-twelve months... hopefully.... maybe eighteen...

In short, they say they're waiting for the exchange to be enabled, even though it's already been enabled and taking orders for years... After my rather unfriendly skepticism toward their "Great News", they're also checking with their sources to see if I am/will be actually eligible for their upgrade, because only two of their four different databases say I will!!

Maybe if/when that actually happens I will see if someone else can ISP me!
