I take it you are talking about the FreeSync range, probably the most important piece of information that you want to see for a FreeSync monitor is missing!!

Hardly Hexus' fault - Samsung don't provide the refresh rates and Freesync range in their detailed specs...

If the colour is good on the smaller model, and the price competitive.. it might just exactly what I was looking for.

60Hz will be the max at 4k on HDMI2.0 and DP1.2, the adaptive sync range should be at least 45-60Hz otherwise pointless, however cannot find any information on it in the user manual and the setup.inf file for the monitor does not reveal much other than the max and min -

Am I missing something, AFAIK no AMD card supports the 2x HDMI 2.0 ports on these monitors (without the yet to be released, probably expensive adapter), and how is FreeSync implemented when they only come with dp 1.2 and not 1.2a?

Just because they state 1.2 does not mean it is not 1.2a, it is all marketing blurb, the fact they state it supports FreeSync means it must be 1.2a. After all 1.2a is just an extension to the 1.2 spec. Yes they should really specify 1.2a where possible to avoid confusion and you would think it would be helpful to sell such that way.

I think the lack of information is due to them being recalled before launch in May due to a firmware update due to some Freesync issues that had to be done and now they probably be out in July here in UK. I would definitely wait for some reviews before pre-ordering though

The 24" version is selling on Overclockers for £420 and the 28" version is selling for £500. I want a 4K Freesync monitor to go with my 295X2 (which I am going to replace with a pair of Fury-X bad boys) BUT I am not overwhelmed by the new 2nd gen 4k monitors that are trickling out. The 24" version is not going to be 10bit and I am concerned by the slow refresh rate of 4ms. I would have considered a 1440p monitor but they are so stupidly expensive, you may as well buy a 4K monitor (because the prices are almost the same).
