Will that be the first shipping DX12 title then? They do have a *lot* of blocks to draw so it could help.

Well that would make sense, given it's for Windows 10, and appears to be developed from the non-Java pocket edition code.

It must hurt them to own a game that makes good use of OpenGL, so I can see them trying to migrate away to Microsoft proprietary systems.

Taking the main code line to PE would hurt Spigot/Bukkit servers though, they would have to play that very carefully.
