The FOV has quickly become a highly debated tpic regarding the HoloLens.
As much as it is restrictive, I am sure users will learn to adapt to it quickly enough.

On subject though, aside from gaming and in home use, the HoloLens looks pretty capable. Hopefully it won't be too pricy though!

Unfortunately its a highly discussed topic NOW because the general technological illiterate masses who paid no attention to the forerunners in the field of AR, but wet the bed at the prospect of a hologram, have quickly realised their rainbow filled idea of the glasses is not going to be as richly realised as they dreamed.

It's always been an issue and it makes sense considering the logistics of the technology.

So nothing to do with Microsoft demonstrating it as a fully immersive experience, and not akin to looking through a letterbox?

Sue Workman also explained how to use HoloLens and HoloAnatomy in classroom. For those who are interested, I can share a copy of her article.

By the way, the blah blahe been working on the new apps for education with Microsoft to help medical students learn faster and have full-size illustrations of all body parts and organs.

It's a revolutionary technology for learning and teaching: HoloAnatomy is one more app that can create a learning environment with visualization and 3D projects used for studying. - Sue Workman, a PhD [**snip** @ disqus
