I'm not sure what it is, but something about that curved monitor is just gorgeous.

I agree, but I'd prefer to see a less chunky base, and less chunky bottom bezel

I am just so happy that the base doesn't glow like an irradiated cowpat that I couldn't care less about its size.

Philips should bring back the whole Ambilight shebang; it was needlessly complex and messy before but with USB 3 and/or wireless connections & LED lighting, it would be stunning.

If this can run freesync and the quality control is right, it could be very interesting. If it's just another LG IPS then it better be well priced.

Yeah needs FreeSync support... and maybe > 75Hz refresh rate that the Acer tops out at (IPS panel limitation?).

But saying that, curved + 21:9 basically has me sold

In terms of bezel, it looks almost identical to the Dell U3415w. It can be assumed to have the exact same panel (because there is only one curved 3440x1440 34" IPS panel being manufactured). Shame about the overly fancy but minimally functional base.
