Hmmm - This doesn't look right to me:
"Add to this a 64GB dollop of memory, 64GB of built-in storage "
I'm guessing its 4GB of RAM?

If they made some el cheapo docks (no more than ~£25 each) you could have one at home and work and take it with you...

If TV companies have been trying to make smart TV's, why is it that they have not joined in on the mini computer stick party by having them already to integrated into the TV.
Closest I've seen is the android TV.
They could have a system like the upgradeable box on the Samsung TV
I think that these small sticks will be a great idea for TV's.
Turn them into a much faster interface for web work and other things.
I use a windows 8.1 with media center NUC (with a single and a dual TV tuners fitted for recording) mounted on the back of the lounge room TV with a Logitech K830 keyboard and a old windows media center remote. Works great.
My LG TV AC wifi and widi as standard, so there is not even a physical connection required since I have intel 7260 wifi and bluetooth fitted in the NUC.
My normal PC is a reasonably high spec crossfire gaming rig, so using the NUC is a good way to reduce noise and power usage for everyday tasks.

Until they can get these guys to power through the HDMI I just can't get excited about them.
