Yes, but it's not surprising, as almost 96% of their userbase is Windows users. And looking at where those Windows 10 users came from, it's clear it's almost entirely upgraders from other Windows versions, which show broadly comparable drops. Both Linux and OSX groups also show a nominal increase.
Linux usage has been pretty static at just under 1% for ages.
Number of games available for Linux = 17. Number of games available for Windows = eleventy billion. Surprise surprise, game distributing site survey shows latest windows version is more popular.
Wait a minute that screen shows:
Physical CPUs 2 cpus 48.26%
Really???? Nearly half the people using steam have more than 1 physical cpu in their system, I think not.
I do wonder just how many of those 1359 are based on the source engine though.......
Still I am surprised how many are now Linux compatible, is there a site like the "steam value" and "time to play" sites that show you which titles in your library are Linux ready?
25 by my count.

Look at that AMD statistics on both CPU and GPU I am now off with this
3.23% Mac Users. That's a lot of nubs :p
And currently one that is Linux exclusive (for now) lol :D

Is Fallout 4 going to be available on Linux? There may be 1000+ games available but how many are games I or other people actually want to play? I'd swap to Linux in a heartbeat if it was supported, doubly so after seeing what windows 10 has become. I hope Steam OS is a massive success.
Thus far, Zenimax are one of the most Linux-hostile publishers.
A fair question. The situation isn't perfect, but is improving. A bunch of AAA games are scheduled for Oct-Nov time. The latest big release was Shadow of Mordor, with Arkham Knight due in the autumn (but maybe delayed now due to the cluster**** launch)Quote:

if only BF4 was available under Linux I'd jump straight away... :(
