That's a curious IOPS meter unless they also used the same image with the needle well into the other half to show what we can anticipate. As it is, the comparison looks underwhelming at first glance as it seems to be comparing "next to nothing" with "not much". It's the written digits below that show the real difference.

This is the best news I've heard in a while. Not very often you hear about such a ground-breaking tech and that it's coming "next year"!
Annoyingly, I got a new laptop yesterday and my "spare" SSD doesn't fit it (7mm vs 9.5mm height grrr), so I am going to have to buy a new one knowing it will be obsolete next year :(

To me this looks very much like a PowerPoint slide, although it might well be animated.
Still, the tech is intriguing enough for me to wonder when we can "optane" such a disk at a competetive price. ;)
