This could stir things up a bit, especially seeing as there is no 960Ti as of yet, could well be something decent to own in the mid range sector. Waiting on reviews of course from HEXUS.

I presume you meant 950 costs less? The 960 is many things, but the 380 beats it on performance and price, so a bargain it is not. You can still get an 285 for £130 which beats it for performance and thrashes it on price.
Would have been nice to have seen this released as a further cut down Tonga, I presume AMD had a warehouse full of old chips somewhere to use up.

Pitcairn is a surprisingly excellent chip. Balance of performance/power is probably the best AMD have ever produced.

Lack of Freesync support seems a blow though. The Tonga increased tessellation is handy for those Hairworks moments too :)

Yes - hard to make the case for feature adoption when you sell 'new' cards that can't support it. Hairworks is OK on Pitcairn as long as you keep it under control.
