    Wow that's fugly they really need to redesign and keep the older black and chrome look

    Well it is about time amd got this 380x out there. there is a decently sized gap to fill and they hadnt done anything with it for a long ass time. nvidia cannot fill this gap so it can potentially be a goldmine (if the price it right). if this comes out in 6gb flavours i will be getting one.

    Nvidia could do a cut down GM204 based card but it will be more expensive to make as it uses a larger die too. It would be an interesting reversal of roles whe compared to the rest of the ranges.

    While 6GB would be nice, I can see a card with banks of 1+1+2 for a total of 4GB would sell nicely. Bit of a bodge, but it has been done before and 3GB feels budget these days.

    Hmm this is a very interesting CHIP and should perform really well. A compact version like the R9 285 mini ITX would be just what I'm looking for.
