Wonder how Nvidia fanboys will see this, does an ex ATI man joining Nvidia make Nvidia worse or better?
Pleiades (15-10-2015)
Or how AMD fanboys are going to see it, does it mean Mr Rogers is going to be using stolen tech from AMD to help Nvidia?
Interested in knowing what he will be doing there but I guess nvLink may be the best guess for someone with HSA experience....unless nVidia are planning to move into APU/SoC development more than the failure that is Tegra.....

don't they have some sort if 'non compete clause' in their contracts?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-compete_clause
oh wait, Nvidia HQ is in California, they don't care about that sort of thing.
other interesting thing: http://hexus.net/tech/news/industry/...specification/
wonder if next year they'll say "yes please"An EE Times report says that the HSA Foundation contacts Intel and Nvidia roughly once a year to check if they are interested but have always, thus far received an answer of "no thank you".
Reading this with little fear that nvidia GPU's price will raise up.
Quite sad you seem to be happy with it probably happening! LMAO,some hardware enthusiasts need to get out into the realworld more instead of staying stuck in their little fiefdoms, when they are obsessed with E-PEEN.
Lets hope the company you work at does not start making losses -perhaps we should start clapping too!

Yeah, I don't think there's much to celebrate in any kind of demise or job cuts of AMD - and I work for a competitor!

Research is expensive. Hard to imagine how the demise of AMD would encourage Intel or NVidia to improve their products, or for that matter to keep their prices down.

ohhhhh dear if NVIDIA is 'purchasing' AMD employees then AMD is about to launch something big and nvidia is about to copy
