This looks great and the specifications are pretty good as well. Very tempted just need to know the UK price.

Inside you will notice that the touchpad is etched with a death star corridor style
I believe that is more likely based on the targeting computer from Luke's X-Wing when making the Death Star trench run in ep 4.

Re: HP launches Dark Side Inspired Star Wars Special Edition laptop

Why not put in a chip with iris graphics and ditch the Nvidia card? Probably cost the same, much lower power and they can stick in a bigger battery?

    Hideous.

But then, I'm a fan of absolute minimalism when it comes to tech. So, naturally, anything covered in stickers and Red lights is my idea of absolute hell ;-)

nice presentation, but how this is going to compete with the high end laptops? or maybe hp is trying to just step into gaming oriented laptop segment ??!

If the trackpad was plain I'd like it a tad more but sure does look pretty.

True, it doesn't officially, some have reported it working (albeit at low rez and laggy ):

If you drop it, does it come back more powerful than you could possibly imagine?
