That has to be the most ridiculous video I have seen in quite a while.
The tablet, on the other hand, is now a very reasonable price for the features it has.
Hope they won't light the christmas trees up this time.
These look ugly compared to the last, haha
Got to love the small print.
Professional stunt do not attempt...
Personally my favourite part was the cat
Would've hoped for an X1 version by now. And £49 for a controller?! Ur havin' a giraffe ain'tcha!?
PS My Xiaomi MiPad has identical specs (except for 2048 x 1536 screen) but it's been out for ages... MiPad 2 however looks to be a complete departure (Intel based according to rumours) so no X1 from Xiaomi either it appears...
PPS Hah, just noticed the ad that I get on this page is from geekbuying: Teclast X98 Pro Dual OS Windows10 & Android5.1 4GB/64GB 9.7" Intel Cherry Trail T4 Z8500 Quad Core 2.24GHz 2048*1536 £156 from HK
I think I'd go for that tbh if it wasn't for the warranty issues...

Looks nice but well I have a tablet already and it is hard for me to find uses for it.
I tried gaming on it but if the game is more complicated than plants vs zombies or bejewel, like carmageddon, it is getting tiresome to play.
Browsing the news using the apps or the browser doesn't offer anything more than doing it with my lighter smartphone.
Watching a movie doesn't worth it because I prefer to use the big screen for that.
Listening to music... well I prefer to use radio in house and my ipod mini on the go.
Well honestly the only usage I have found for this is to browse pinterest while on bed (phone screen is to small for that) and to do a slideshow for customers (I'm a graphic designer).
My girlfriend also found it very useful for presentation in her job (she is an architect) because of special apps that allow her to show the whole building 3d models live.
But that's as far as the tablet have gone for us, I always find way more useful to use a laptop, maybe this new microsoft tablet/laptop hybrid can find a sweet spot? I hope it does and nvidia and other follow.
I have the original Shield tablet and the build quality is shocking, The WiFi antenna is located in the bottom right hand corner of the screen in portrait mode so if like me you hold a tablet with a firm grip the signal plummets and drops in and out constantly even in the same room as router. My first tablet was sent back as the sides cracked when it got warm from playing games which apparently is common for the tablet also.

Pulled the trigger on one of these - great buy for $199.
Hopefully they've resolved some of the issues suffered by earlier models. The stock vanilla experience will be great after suffering with TouchWiz on my current Samsung Tab S!
Any idea what those design tweaks are?The 16GB SHIELD Tablet K1 is priced at £149. Design tweaked to cut costs.
