BEFORE they launch Intel would have made millions, AMD should focus on making cheap processors for the low end bracket. I would be happy to use an AMD processor with similar core performance as an intel celeron but have way faster GPU, I am tired with the slow intel HD graphics.

It's bulked things out but no replacement for top tier performance arts.
Don't forget, research and development on top tier parts eventually falls down the product stack. Even if it's just mid tier products being failed top tier parts.

This is great news for me (I want Zen, now!), but I'd suggest it's much more important for AMD to get the high-margin server parts out early, to maximise the time they have a performance edge.

Unsurprising; cheap processors are low margin and therefore can't support R&D costs to improve performance. Via are a great example of what happens if you try to concentrate on low-end low-power x86 processors.
AMD needs a genuine high-performance CPU that it can sell with high margins to start funding the additional R&D it will need to keep ahead of (or at least on a level with) whatever Intel do in response.
Even if Zen is amazingly good, they'll have a relatively short window of opportunity unless they can keep track of Intel's performance: industry works on a much longer replacement cycle than consumers so only a small portion of the high-margin (server, workstation and HPC) market will be renewing their hardware next year. If AMD come out with something amazing but Intel overstep them again the following year, their market share will barely change. AMD need 4 - 5 consecutive years of performance parity, if not leadership, to get themselves back in a sound position for future R&D...
I hope they are decent. Will be upgrading my PC late next year and it will be a choice of these or the next Intel gen.

I suspect the FX Zen Cpus will be launched close to the 2016 R9 400 series/Fury Gpus to encourage simultaneous upgrades. Glad to see something new from AMD and I imagine a fair number of Hexus members will be taking the plunge next year!
This may just give the the reason to go AMD, loving APU in my less demanding machines but would love to go zen which would fit with a goof time to get rid of the 3570k.
JUNE, is Zen release in my book. it's taped and tested months back.
Looks like I might go Zen next year and give my Mrs my current setup.

the way they should play it is go cheap ... it's going to be as fast as what intel has now .. waffer size should be a lot cheaper .. so why not undercut intel sell them for £100-150 how many would buy a fast cheap setup knowing there next 3 upgrades will use the same board ?
the only cost they have is r&d they have atleast 3 companys that can produce the chip and if they ramp up production it only gets cheaper ..
intel could not at this stage compete they pay out way to much with all there founderys and eveything else ..
