16nm GPUs from AMD & Nvidia. We've been stuck at 28nm for a looong time!
4k not so much for me (well not 4k gaming anyway), VR I will keep an eye on and see how that develops. As MrJim said the new cards from AMD/Nvidia too.
Zen cpus and new gpu's
Definitely looking forward to VR becoming a reality. I know there are some headsets you can get for smart phones, but the Oculus would be awesome if Apple made a Thunderbolt attachment to connect to it, so the one device would be good for TV and mobile.
I will certainly buy a decent 4k monitor.Maybe add another Video card;also need a good printer.And maybe a new sony APS-C mirrorless.
Hoping against hope that AMD will actually be competitive again with the launch of Zen (if it even launches this year). Not holding my breath though.
Zen processors and oculus for me.
Both of which I will hopefully be buying if they turn out to be as good a I hoped.
I'm most looking forward to seeing how AMD's new CPU & GPU turn out, are they going to turn out to be the usual AMD hype, i hope not.
Also looking forward to Pascal, how well are they going to implement HBM2, and if NVLink is going to be relevant for consumers, lastly i want to see how Vulkan compares to DX12 in real world uses.
AMD 16nm GPU's with HBM2
There's a lot to look forward too, but personally I'm finally going to splash on a big fancy TV or projector for my "gaming room" in the new house.
Zen CPU
16nm GPU's
Oculus Rift / Vive, but I'm waiting for hardware to mature enough to power 4k VR sets before I jump in
Will Samsung release a flip phone with flexible screen?
I'm really looking forward to the 14nm/16nm GPUs, because this year will probably be the year my GTX770 will be replaced. Other than that, I'm looking forward to the Zen release, because Lord knows that the CPU market needs competition...
def zen ..as my 8350 and crosshair v is going in the wifes box along with the r290 ..
so heres hoping

1)- UHD 17 inch laptops
2)- Dual Thunderbolt ports available with type C connectors on laptops.
3)- USB ports ALL at 3.1 level.
4)- SSD drives with one gig standard fare.
5)- CPUs at current state of the art level on laptops.
6)- VR headset via Thunderbolt connector for UHD video and surround sound!
7)- Thumbnail drives which operate at USB 3.1 speeds.
Optane SSD's
As long as they are less than 3 times the price of SSD's I would get one.
