    Hmm, while I'm sure "world's thinnest" is good for PR bragging rights, I'm not exactly convinced that - with current devices at least - that shaving a mm here or there is such a big deal. Personally if they can use higher capacity flash then I'd prefer to see a 2TB drive over a thin 1TB one.

    Also, I've been doing a little research on NVMe drives and there seems to be a good few reports that the top performing M.2 drives also seem to have "concerns" with overheating. In which case I'd be a bit wary of this Sandisk drive.

    Post-new-year grumpiness aside though, it's nice to see that Samsung might not have the market to themselves.

    Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...
