The Node 304 is by no means the worst offender; it's in fact slightly narrower than my Antec Aria, although it is somewhat deeper.

But as I said, I have a rather biased opinion on what "small form factor" means: here's a couple of my favourite cases for comparison purposes:

    AOpen H360

    Antec Aria

So yeah, I am a huge SFF nerd

Sorry this is off topic, but could you tell me what PSU is in the NSK1380?

    Heh

    1) that's NOT an NSK1380, exactly. It's the predecessor, the Antec Aria. It's basically the same, but came with a front card reader and firewire port in addition to the front USBs.

    2) it's a standard 1u (aka FlexATX) PSU (iirc it's an FSP 250w 80+ Bronze unit). When the original PSU went pop I measured up and found that the original PSU casing is almost exactly the same size (until you get the the point where it extends for the 120mm fan). It required a bit of minor modding but you can fairly easily cut/drill the original casing to act as a frame for a 1u PSU. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the original PSU is 1u internals in a custom case, and it might be possible to transplant the internals from one to the other...

Re: AMD Radeon R9 Nano gets significant official price cut

This is VERY welcome. Especially if it forces something of a price war. 980ti isn't really enough to power proper (all bells and whistles, 120hz/at least 60fps) 4K so a second for SLI would be rather welcome.
