Does 2.5M hrs MTBF even mean anything? Back of the envelope maths suggests that means on average they'll work for 285 years of continuous usage. Erm ok, yeah better get that one over the one that'll work for 114 years. Best to be sure
Maybe they use a different sort of hour, like the whole megabyte mibibyte megabit situation + 'formatting' that always meant your '1TB' drive is actually 931GB and your '40 Meg' internet connection is actually 5MB/s (on a good day)
