Microsoft recently bought a company that makes Anti-Spyware software, and now they have released a trial of a Microsoft-branded Anti-Spyware tool.Have a gander over here for PC World's article.Quote:
Microsoft this week released a free trial copy of anti-spyware software it purchased last month, marking the company's entry into the fast-growing market for products that block surreptitious snooping programs, and promised monthly releases of tools to stop new malicious software.
It's not clear from any of these articles whether Microsoft will be charging for this Anti-Spyware tool. Since the problem of spyware is largely a Microsoft creation, then I would hope that this tool would be made available free of charge.
