Z1XX-A - Architecture-Generation-Two digit performance indicator in increments of 5- A for APU, D for discrete CPU.
Let the FX become the halo part again, so Z1-FX for first generation.
Zen is fine as a brand.

FZ maybe? A nod to the FX range and the Zen codename?

ZEN Processor Name Recommendations:
ZEN is OK, FZ-Number instead of FX [FZ-3210 for example]for CPU Model Numbers. The most important thing is that if it performs well that is what I am looking for. I wouldn't mind 'Zeppelin' for a name, just don't name it the Hindenburg!
Whatever they pick, statistically-speaking, for western consumers, they should use power letters like X, Q and Z... or just stick with "Zen" for that matter. (Maybe Zen FX?)
Use the same logic as Randall Munroe:

Athlon Prime.
People love the Athlon brand. That they ever moved away from it in the first place was a mistake.

Mmmmmm..... Nvidia!
I reckon it's about time we have processors with names. We can append a v1/v2/v3 etc. to denote revisions as Intel does with their Xeon models. How about Sherlock Holmes characters?
At the bottom of the range we'd have the Hudson. Great for landladies everywhere.
Above that we'd have the Lestrade. Good enough for ordinary situations, but can't quite keep up with the more demanding ones.
The mid-range could be the Watson. Solid, dependable and cleverer than you think.
The demanding user's choice would of course be the Sherlock. Great for those who want peak performance on smaller tasks. With the occasional Moriarty special edition model.
The flagship would be the Mycroft.

Although, I hope the new CPUs and GPUs impriove AMDs lot. I use AMD GPU and CPU and have for a while. I have a kind of affinity with them ever since their begining when they mmade building a computer cost efficient by prododuce cheaper alternatives to Intel processors. I've not really gone for Intel or nVidia since. I'm not a fanboy, just a fan.
