I really don't see the point in going 4K - my 780 drives this screen just fine, but a 4K unit will need a £600 GPU investment too.

2560 x 1600 also on a Dell but using model U3014. I bought a Samsung UE40JU6400 40" 4K screen for the sitting room, it is down to £420 on some sites now. Out of interest I tried it on my PC, as a gaming monitor it's dreadful so make sure none of you are tempted.

Can't believe I am first to say 1920x1200.

It's on my 9 year old Dell 2407wfp-HC, which I thought was quite expensive back then (+£400), but considering it's lasted 9 years and had a range of inputs (good for my PS3 and Xbox 360 back then), it's actually bit of a bargin.

Was expensive when i brought it, but considering how long i've had it, it was worth every penny IMHO

I have a second 1080p (22") cheap monitor for multi-monitor windows use, but i only use a single screen for gaming.

1920 x 1200 on a Dell 2412 for me. Quite happy with it and allows me to run from a passive GTX 750 Ti, so nice and quiet

2560x1440. Only thing I could wish for is a wider display for games. I'll probably go for an ultrawide monitor (at least as tall as my current 27") when this one dies ... which will probably be a while. No reason at all to upgrade as of now.

2560 x 1080. Awesome for shooters but as great for strategy games as you really need to keep the camera at a certain aspect to get the best of it. You do get some really nice views on Cities Skyline though!

p.s. Nice to see Hexusites generally quoting horizontal and vertical pixel counts. That TV world habit of quoting one only dimension when two (or more!) resolutions of that dimension are popular is rather a peeve of mine. It's like saying you have a Hawaii GPU without specifying whether it's a 290, 290X, 390 or 390X.

Whether your '1080p' screen is 2560x1080 or 1920x1080 has a bigger performance impact then whether your Hawaii GPU is a 290 or 390X.
