My Galaxy Tab S has a res of 2560x1600, so that. Unfortunately many games run at the native res.

1920x1200 if fullscreen, but usually in a 1680x1050 or 1680x900 window (depending on game resolution support) as I like to be able to see other stuff around when I'm gaming solo.
I'd only desire higher resolution really if:
(1) I got a larger monitor. (My current one is 24".)
(2) We get decently-priced and specced OLED monitors. (Until then, I'm sticking with my roughly-9-year-old Dell 2407WFP.)
1080 and will continue to do so until the price of 4k capable equipment goes way down
1920x1080 @60 hertz, use vsr to 1440p but depends what game im playing
1920 x 1080 60 Hz but looking to get a new monitor at the end of the year, but does depend on price
1080p 144hz TN (a good one though). Not gaming a whole lot any more though. Had 1440p, 60hz, IPS I think overall that was a bit better (but then my GPU can't push 144hz @ 1080p in modern games).
I'm watching closely for a decent upgrade, something like freesync ips 1440p or higher.

Be Careful on the Internet! I ran and tackled a drive by mining attack today. It's not designed to do anything than provide fake texts (say!)
1080p. Its plenty good enough and my old 580 GTX can pump out enough pixels at decent quality settings at that res. Can see myself going higher res one day but not until prices drop or I get a few more pay rises!
2560 x 1600. My dream resolution is 7680 x 4800, but it will be a while until we get there. I will probably upgrade when G-Sync 4K monitors drop to the $3XX range.
1920 x 1080
2560x1440 on a Dell U2713HM which has been great.
Powered by an i7 4770k and R9 290 with no problems so far.
I might change it next year to 4k g-sync with a Zen and Polaris upgrade
1920 x 1080 on a TN panel.
It. Is. Awful!!!!!!!!!
I loved it when I first got it, but having since seen and played my favourite games on friends' machines with 1440 G-sync and even 4K, I now has the sads and will keep having them until I can afford a better screen... and better GPU...
haha, what a coincidence. Same monitor bought around the same time . Still working and not a single dead pixel.
Althought I'm with gtx970 which is a little overkill for this monitor, I have the feeling that 1440p would be too much and will need a video upgrade. Also gsync monitors are a bit expensive for my taste yet. So waiting for new generation of gpus and gsync prices to drop
1440p at 144hz, IPS.....awwww yeaaaaah. That sweet, sweet MG279Q.
1080p for me too (like most people it seems). I'd be torn what to replace with though - would a single 4K monitor scratch that graphics itch, or would a multiscreen (but lower res) setup be better? Especially as the latter would be really handy for all those non-gaming things that I do with that gaming PC.
2560/1600 on a Dell 3007HC..... powered by a 5970 which is OCed...
Starting to struggle in certain games now at high AA and anything above high quality....
Looking to upgrade to a watercooled 980ti.... when I see a cheap one on ebay/gumtree/craigslist/street corner....
2560x1440 @144Hz. The increase in refresh rate is the best move I ever made. Even better than the higher res. R9 390 seems to handle it ok.
