No because its an Iphone
No because its an Iphone
No never
Personally, I've always been an android user. Partly due to price. Partly because something else has always seemed to be better at the time.
Also, not looking to replace my 1+1 for a while yet!
Microsoft seem to have given up on it though - my (admittedly limited) trial of Win 10 (mobile) wasn't too favourable...
I just bought the 6s a month ago. I hate the trend of smartphones having huge screens. If i had known this before i would have gone with the SE. Only downside, it comes only with a 64Gb storage.
No way would I consider buying a phone with a 4' screen.
My S3 got stolen recently and I am forced (due to budgetary constraints of being on a pension) to use my old Omnia 2 with a replacement sim card.
Going from a 5" screen to a 4" screen feels like a backward step. Even though it is old tech (does things a bit slower), I find the smaller screen had the biggest impact, as it still does everything I need adequately considering it's age (I don't use mobile data, only wifi).
Plus I have large hands (can span a one key more than a full octave on a piano), so the larger screen area actually makes it easier to use. I end up hitting incorrect keys far more often on the smaller screen when texting or typing.
Tried a friends phone with a 6" screen and can still work it fine with one hand and so much easier to use.
Can't wait till I can afford a new phone to get a big screen again.
Although I could understand certain people wanting a smaller phone (example - better fit in women's small handbags).
There does appear to be a hiatus from MS on Windows Phone, but I don't see the point of MS giving up on it's foothold in the mobile/smartphone market with the Windows 10 platform now coming to previous WP8/8.1 phones as well the newer models.
I do notice an awful lot of app makers still not developing apps for Windows Phone though, so it does make me wonder.. but widespread adoption of Windows 10 over time could change that.
Will I be buying an iPhone SE? Not in the foreseeable future.. my 3 year old Lumia 620, is still in mint condition really and there's no compelling reason to upgrade at the moment.
Winphones appear almost dead in the water right now - strange seeing as many people like them, but with some of thealmost essential apps not being available has kileed it rather quickly. The ghost of Nokias mistakes looms large in this still...
Old puter - still good enuff till I save some pennies!
No, not at all. In many ways, I rather miss the microscopic phones. My dinky little Samsung was still one of the best ever.Is a 4in smartphone too small by today's standards?
NO!!!Will you be buying an Apple product?
I'm left wondering how long it will be before people refer to SE as "Smashed Edition" at reference to rarely seeing an iPhone without a smashed screen...
No because the 64GB version is too expensive
Considering I picked up my new phone as a direct import from china for £100 I don't think so! (I'd also argue its more capable having a decent size screen, SD card slot, dual sim and removeable battery!). Its Xiaomi redmi note 2 32gb premium if anyone cares...
I have been looking at some of these from China. They seem to have all the major features covered plus a nice sized 5.5" screen. It appears the only band not covered is TDD (Time Division Duplex) network at 2300MHz operating within Canberra only (ACT, Australia) and I don't think that will be a problem. How does you find it feels, and stacks up against the Samsung's and LG's, et cetera? Also had a quick look for any flip case type thing, but could not find any yet, have you seen any cases that fit these?
Also noticed this has dual band AC wifi, but no mention of NFC, do you know if yours has this function?
My Samsung S3 was stolen, so I am looking around for a reasonable new phone, but as I am on a pension, I can not afford a one of the expensive, big name brands. So my choice at the moment is either a S5 (16GB about A$400 new - prefer removable battery and micro SD facilities so not considering any S6 or 7 versions) or possibly a cheaper new LG Optimus G Pro 32GB (A$165 with free postage on our ebay) or something like this.
Nothing better than asking someone for their opinion who owns one of these. I have found a online shop selling them for $200 Australian (about £100) with free postage.
the iphone se is a joke no point at releasing this phone
